The Book Project

Peeps, I’m terribly excited to announce that 2013 will be The Year Of The Book: I’m writing a book about post-perfectionism.

Step one: interviewing you!

I’ve come to realize that perfectionist dragons come in all sizes, shapes and colors.¬† Mine lurks in my clothes closet, the kitchen, and my word processor.¬† One client I have has a dragon in his art supplies; another client used to be held hostage by the work ethic dragon (in her head – the toughest!) that kept her from practicing self-care.¬† What about yours?¬† Would you be willing to share your story?

One of the biggest challenges of perfectionism is that it thrives on secrecy and shame.  And as we know, shame cannot survive the light of day, and the power of connection (thank you, Brené Brown).

Toni Morrison said “the function of freedom is to free someone else.”¬† If you are willing to have your story contribute to others’ freedom, please contact me.¬† I look forward to talking with you and making friends with your dragon.
